Terrazzo polishing is what Colonial Floor and Stone Care does and does well. Terrazzo will dull in its shine over time. If you have Terrazzo and you are noticing the shine, especially in high traffic area's are starting to dull, it is then time to have it polished. We bring in our grinding machines that will grind the floor with a series of diamond bonded grinding pads using different grades of these pads somewhat like sanding a wood product with different 'grit' of sand paper. We do this until the desired shine is obtained. We take great pride in our restoration process in which polishing is an important part of the restoration process. The result is bringing back Terrazzo to it's beautiful shine and color that make this type of floor desired for many home owners.
