Terrazzo is one of the most durable and sought after floors today. It can cost up to 30 dollars per square foot to install new Terrazzo. If you have uncovered Terrazzo under tile or carpet, it would be to your advantage to look into restoring this durable and beautiful flooring. Restoration can be as easy as a cleaning and polishing of old, dull Terrazzo, restoration would be as easy as bringing our cleaning machine, cleaning the floor and using if needed our propietary poltice on any stubborn stains, and after the surface is cleaned, polishing the surface with our grinding method to the desired shine.

How ever not all of uncovered Terrazzo is in good condition. There may be cracking or chipping in these historic floors. As in South Florida, we are fortunate to be one of the places in the United States that Terrazzo was used in Mid Modern houses in the 50's. These uncovered floor are now over 60 years old. If carpet was installed, there will be tack strip to be removed, possibly glue needed to be reoved from Tile being placed over the floor. Once again, as with a simple cleaning, these floors can be restored by filling cracks and chips, if marble pieces are missing, replacing those lost chips individually. We would then grind the floor to the freshest level, continue with the cleaning and polish to the desired shine.
